Want to have better control of your dreams? Try playing video games

With the advancements in technology, scientists are able to delve deep into our minds, and they have not shed some insight into the inner workings of the grey matter between the ears. One of the things they’ve managed to establish is that individuals who play video games have a better ability of creating lucid dreams.

Lucid dreaming is that state where you’re dreaming but still retain some consciousness. This enables you to have some control over how your dream transpires, and literary speaking, you can mould the dream into anything you want – even playing King Solomon, or a day in the life of some party billionaire.
The concept is that avid gamers are regularly put in an alternate reality where they can control the what happens to them and how things unfold. At times, lucid dreaming involves the person being outside their body and viewing oneself from a third-party eye.
